April turned her challenging beginnings into a passion for helping others. She holds AAS degrees in Business and Marketing, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work. After moving from West Virginia to Tennessee a few years ago, she now lives in the Upper Cumberland area, where she’s a proud mom and grandmother of three. Through her work with I Am Next, April uses her story and experience to empower young adults to build stability and believe in themselves.
