I AM NEXT transforms potential into purpose through community action. We begin with housing stability and transportation access, the foundation every emerging adult needs. We even run our own driving school, further equipping youth to achieve an important milestone in independence: having their driver’s license. From there, we build lasting connections, facilitating a support network that shows up, time and time again, as they navigate the challenges of independence.
Home isn’t just a space. It’s a stabilizing force.
A foundation that supports hopes, dreams, goals and plans. It’s where we find ourselves and build a future. Home empowers us to shift focus from surviving to thriving. It lets us grow, at our own pace, into independence and autonomy.

For a young adult aging out of the foster care system, access to reliable transportation completely expands the range of possibilities.
Transportation services are an important part of the I Am Next program, and the support of our volunteers and donors allows us to expand and help more emerging adults succeed.

Here’s what you’re probably wondering.
The I Am Next program helped prevent me from becoming homeless and alone. The staff are a great support system and they’re always there when I need help or even just someone to talk to. Whenever I’m struggling or need to vent, I know I can come to them. I’m really glad to be a part of the I Am Next program.
One positive aspect of the I Am Next program is the consistent dedication demonstrated by its staff. They respond to concerns promptly and with care, ensuring that each issue is addressed as quickly as possible. The team balances multiple responsibilities effectively while making sure every resident feels heard, supported, and attended to based on their individual needs. Their commitment to responsiveness and quality service greatly enhances the overall experience within the program.
The driving program is going really well. Jon is very consistent, supportive, and gives everyone a chance to get their license. He works with each person individually and helps anyone who needs extra support. Every time he comes to Greenview, he checks in with all of us and encourages everyone who wants to get their license. He is positive, patient, and always makes time to help. Jon believes in people, even when they don’t believe in themselves. He reminds us that we can succeed and that we will get our licenses. He explains things clearly and always answers questions, no matter how many times we ask. The program is extremely helpful for those who haven’t had the chance to work on getting their license before. Jon is a hardworking, kind, and understanding person, and the program has been a big help.
